Mattress Firm, one of the nation’s leading specialty mattress retailers announced today that they have signed on as a sponsor of the upcoming four-day Rock the Bayou festival. The festival lineup is set to include some of rock’s most legendary bands, a collection of emerging stars, and food and family fun on the former grounds of Houston’s AstroWorld theme park.
In addition to sponsoring the event, Mattress Firm locations throughout the area will provide tickets for the event to its customers as well. Beginning August 1, 2008, the company will give two tickets to the Rock the Bayou Festival to any customer who makes a purchase of $399 or more while supplies last.
The Rock The Bayou festival features rock legends Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper, Bret Michaels and his Rock of Love Tour, Queensryche, Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Great White, Ratt, Dokken, Warrant (with its original lineup), Yngwie Malmsteen, Slaughter, Y&T, Dangerous Toys, Little Caesar, Jetboy, Bullet Boys with Steven Adler, Lynch Mob, Britny Fox, Pretty Boy Floyd, Enuff Z’Nuff, Black ‘n Blue, Gilby Clarke, Firehouse and Broken Teeth. All told, more than 50 bands will play two stages over four days.
